Fab holiday from beginning to end
In general: The hotel is in a well situated area and certain areas indoors have been modernised to a higher standard. There are beautiful gardens within the hotel grounds with plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs. Location and surroundings: Very close to the beach and a short bus ride to Benalmadena and Torremolinos, bus stops are outside the hotel and directly across the road - service bus runs very frequently - I would point out that the 120 bus only picks up at hotel side and only drops off across the road. Transfer time in a private taxi was approx. 30mins from the airport. Service: From checking in which was carried out in a timeously manner - all staff were friendly and polite, Reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable and were able to answer all questions. Dining: Since our last visit to this hotel the dinning room has been modernised and is open and bright. Although there are now 2 sittings at meal times it only takes a quick chat with one of the restaurant managers to change. There is always a chef on hand morning, noon and night to make fresh dishes in front of you. There is food for all tastes. The new bar area outside is a welcome change too although the queue in the Victoria lounge at night could be lengthy. Sports and leisure: The entertainment team work very hard to include and invite all to participate in daily activities with winners receiving a certificate at night. The evening entertainment undertaken by the Animation team was first class from the nightly quiz and bingo (which is free) - Lola and George are an asset to the hotel and need to be kept - without giving away any shows how George manages to carry off those outfits is anyones guess - keep up the good work. Professional shows were good. Room: All rooms have a sea view and this time we had a low floored room described as a family room - very spacious, bathroom basic - clean towels provided every day and nice gesture with shower gel and shampoo provided. The only thing I would change is replace the TV with a fridge. Useful tips: Most all inclusive hotels I have stayed in, the AI stops at lunch time but not here - also there is no need to vacate your room till 12 noon on the day of departure.
